Our Tennis Court

You can use the tennis court for one hour a day. This is included in the rental price of an apartment. You only need to bring sports shoes (without heels and with soft soles). You can rent tennis rackets and balls for a small fee. You are playing on a court that is carpeted. This is filled with a little sand, so that a playing feeling between grass and sand court (ash court) arises. Our tennis court is cleaned and sanded every year.

The higher the filling level of the sand, the stronger the playing characteristics of an ash court, i.e. fast rallies and a stronger baseline game. If the fill level is low, the properties of a grass pitch come into play. The ball is slowed down more and slows down the game. Our tennis court is sheltered from the wind and is playable from May 1st to the end of October. The rising sun already shines on the square in the morning. Depending on the position of the sun, the site is already in the shade from the early evening (around 5 p.m.).
